Greeting from St. Al’s! We are always grateful for the support that we receive from each of you, more so financial and prayers! Currently, we working tirelessly to ensure that our students are having a conduvice environment for studies. Overcoming the plight of AIDS orphans trapped in poverty around the world requires unique approaches. For the past 12 years, we have endeavored to provide hope to AIDS orphans from Kibera slums by providing free quality high school Education and college scholarships that do not only solve immediate needs, but ensure that we are lifting hundreds of youths and their families from poverty and deplorable living conditions.

Ground Breaking Ceremony

April 11th, 2016

On Saturday April 9th 2016, the St. Al’s community gathered to mark the ground breaking ceremony for phase 1 of the dormitory campus. This phase entails the construction of a band room and a boundary wall. The band room will be built through the generosity of the GEMBA8 (a group of Executive MBA students from Georgetown-ESADE). The facility will be ready for use at the beginning of July 2016.

Dear Friends and Benefactors,

In anticipation of World AIDS Day I ask you all to keep those affected by HIV/AIDS throughout the world in your thoughts and prayers. I especially ask you to keep the St. Aloysius Gonzaga Community in prayer. World AIDS Day is held on December 1 each year and is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, show their support for people living with HIV, and to commemorate people who have died. World AIDS Day, first held in 1988, was the first ever global health day.

Land Campaign Declared a Resounding Success – Announcing Dormitory Construction Campaign

Our dream of acquiring land to build a dormitory for our students is becoming a reality. We are happy to inform you the process of purchasing the land has gone smoothly and we will be taking possession of the land by the end of October, along with a house that we hope will serve as the St. Al’s Jesuit Community.
