World AIDS Day Message

Dear Friends and Benefactors,

In anticipation of World AIDS Day I ask you all to keep those affected by HIV/AIDS throughout the world in your thoughts and prayers. I especially ask you to keep the St. Aloysius Gonzaga Community in prayer. World AIDS Day is held on December 1 each year and is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, show their support for people living with HIV, and to commemorate people who have died. World AIDS Day, first held in 1988, was the first ever global health day.

Land Campaign Declared a Resounding Success – Announcing Dormitory Construction Campaign

Our dream of acquiring land to build a dormitory for our students is becoming a reality. We are happy to inform you the process of purchasing the land has gone smoothly and we will be taking possession of the land by the end of October, along with a house that we hope will serve as the St. Al’s Jesuit Community.

The story of the remarkable work being done at St Aloysius continues to capture the attention of many people around the world.Two private schools in London -oneworld school(http://www.oneworldschools.info/)  are planning an event to raise awareness about the effects of AIDS scourge in the world,especially sub-Saharan Africa.They have identified St Aloysius as the model example of how to provide hope and opportunities to those affected by AIDS.
