Kipawa changu Mentorship program

Program Overview

St. Aloysius is a school that sponsors Orphaned and Vulnerable children from Kibera Slums. Our commitment to support the students does not end with academics only but also forming them holistically to enable them attain their goals in life.

We also involve our students on community service to give back to the community.

Mentorship day is one of the days that student enjoys most at St. Aloysius. The day provides safe and quality activities that help develop the youthful students into strong and healthy young adults. Hence equipping them with skills and knowledge to overcome obstacles that prevent them from becoming educated, self-sufficient, career oriented and hence powerful citizens of their communities.

We have monthly mentorship program that enables career choice capabilities of the youths to facilitate progressive and duly informed future life choices. We also have mentorship programs for parents once in a term. The program enables parents to gain necessary skills for child upbringing and identifying various hindrances in child’s biopsychosocial development of the child. Job shadowing is another program under mentorship that exposes students to various opportunity to enhance good career choice.
