Ground Breaking Ceremony
On Saturday April 9th 2016, the St. Al’s community gathered to mark the ground breaking ceremony for phase 1 of the dormitory campus. This phase entails the construction of a band room and a boundary wall. The band room will be built through the generosity of the GEMBA8 (a group of Executive MBA students from Georgetown-ESADE). The facility will be ready for use at the beginning of July 2016.
The event was attended by senior government officials, members of CLC EXCO, Development Committee, teachers, students and friends of St. Al’s. Fr. Sydney D’souza, SJ. was the presiding priest accompanied by Deacon Ken Ogot.
We are in the process of raising funds for phase 2 of the construction which will include: a boys’ dormitory, a girls’ dormitory and a volunteers and staff block. The campus is intended to house 480 students. We are still appealing to our generous benefactors and friends to support the construction of the dormitory complex for our students.
